Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and you’ll need to act fast if you want to dine at Meldrums. Unlike some establishments, we’re going to focus on Valentine’s Day only – so if you want to treat that special somebody in your life, make sure you reserve a table with us as soon as possible!

Spicy soup to get you hot under the collar. Chicken, sweet peppers, spring onion and sweetcorn blended with our mix of spice creating a hot and delicious soup.

A slate of sushi beef served with a seductive dipping sauce of teriyaki, sweet chili and coriander.


A Threesome of Mushrooms (GF)

Three kinds of fresh mushrooms sautéed with garlic and cream, white wine and served on toasted rosemary olive oil bread.

Aphrodite’s Scallops? Sounds saucy. Seared scallops set on Asturian black pudding and garnished with a blushing apple purée and crispy Serrano ham.

Confit of duck leg, set on stir-fried spring greens, with creamed potatoes and a garnish of sticky oranges & honey.

Juliet’s Love of the Sea (GF)

Fillet of cod wrapped in Serrano ham and garnished with a shellfish selection gently-cooked in a seafood bisque.


Meat Lover’s Mixed Grill

Iberian Black Pig, Asturian smoked black pudding, chorizo and a marinated cutlet of lamb, garnished with fries, onion rings and aioli.


Night of Oriental Passion

Stir-fried noodles tossed with a mix of crunchy Asian-style vegetables and bean sprouts and napped in a silky Oriental dressing.

Passion Fruit and White Chocolate Cheesecake

Cupid’s Sticky Toffee Pudding

Cupid’s own recipe! Actually, it’s the Chef’s recipe (he thinks he’s Cupid!) Steamed sponge pudding laced with dates and toffee, served with a butterscotch sauce and velvety-smooth vanilla ice cream.
